Feeding
Because of the importance of moisture in a dog's diet, we recommend rehydrating this product with warm water, bone broth or goat milk for optimum nutrient absorption. To rehydrate, add 1/3 cup of liquid per cup of Pronto.
Divide daily serving size into 2 meals for adult dogs. Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, breed, and activity level. Please refer to the feeding chart as an initial recommendation and adjust amounts based on your pet's individual needs. Always have clean, fresh water available at mealtime.

New Users: Sudden changes in diet, including overfeeding, can sometimes result in digestive issues. Always introduce any new food by slowly mixing with your pet's current diet for the first 7-10 days, increasing the amount of Primal while decreasing the amount of the other brand.
Storage Instructions: Freeze-dried food is shelf-stable and should be stored in a cool, dry place. Once rehydrated, feed immediately or keep refrigerated and feed within 5 days for optimum freshness.
Primal Pet Foods Beef Recipe is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for Adult Maintenance.
