Wet Nose is the first of its kind…a safe haven for dogs and cats, in a retail setting. From Fear Free® grooming and training, to Fear Free® play time for anxious dogs, our mission is to educate and offer support to the pets in our community and the fur-parents that love them. Every Wet Nose team member is a Fear Free Certified Professional® along with all service partners, trainers and groomers. We are a unified team, with a common mission.

We strongly believe in work-life balance for our team, which is why our store has reasonable hours: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. All team members, including management, work no more than a 40 hour work week, with 2 days off. We work hard and are serious about what we do, but love to laugh and have fun.

Position:  STOCK ROOM ASSOCIATE 

Part Time

A Wet Nose Stock Room Associate:

• Is organized with an attention to detail.
• Is able to lift 40 pounds or more.
• Is able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Is 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities include checking in and tagging merchandise shipments from our vendors, checking for accuracy, fulfilling client special orders and stocking the sales floor. This is a week-day, part time position and candidates must be available to work every Tuesday and Friday 9am-4pm. Additional weekday availability during peak times is also desired.

Part Time

A Wet Nose Bath Suite/Grooming Attendant:

• Has a kind, helpful and friendly personality.
• Is able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
• Has an attention to detail.
• Enjoys cleaning and takes pride in their work.
• Is 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities include checking in clients & their dogs for self-wash reservations, accommodating any needs during their visit and cleaning the bath suites afterwards. Additional tasks include laundering towels and assisting our groomer during appointments if needed.

Position:  DOG TRAINER 

Full Time & Part Time

A Wet Nose Dog Trainer:

• Has a minimum of 1 year dog training experience in a professional setting.
• Practices 100% positive, force-free, fear-free principles.
• Is self-motivated and able to manage their training program & schedule.
• Is kind, professional, respectful and responsible.
• Has a desire to build a strong client base in a like-minded, supportive environment.

We are building a team of dog trainers that possess a wide range of specialties, from trick training, canine good citizen, therapy dog training, agility and private training. We offer an amazing base of clients that are seeking awesome trainers that embrace Fear Free® principles and they are dedicated to learning.
