We all deserve a much needed release from the stressors of everyday life, even our pups! Our dogs are like sponges, absorbing our energy (good or bad), and over time that stress and anxiety builds up in them. A Hound Bath isn't a soap & water kind of bath, but more of an energy bath. In the simplest of terms, it's a soothing, stress-relieving sound bath, intended as a healing experience for you to enjoy alongside your favorite canine.
What is a sound bath? A sound bath is a full-body listening experience, that immerses you in therapeutic sound frequencies to nurture your mind and body. Sound therapy helps reduce stress and creates a deep sense of peace and well-being for both humans and animals; a group sound bath such as this is a beautiful way to share a meditative, tranquil space of calm and peace with your dog.
Please bring your dog's favorite bed or blanket, along with a yoga mat, blanket and pillow for yourself, and anything else you or your dog may need to be comfortable while lying down on the floor.
Space is limited; register today!
When: Sunday, June 11th, 11:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Wet Nose BARK Room - Geneva, IL
What: Hound Bath Tickets are non-refundable
**PLEASE NOTE: Dogs must be dog & people friendly.**
Sound healing creates a mutually beneficial and healing experience for both you and your pet. Animals react intuitively to sound healing. When you sit or lay down with your dog while in a restful, relaxed space, they soon feel at ease and become more still as a result. They may even position themselves by your side in order to enjoy that calm connection with you.
The Hound Bath will begin with a 15 minute "meet & greet" with pet parents and their dogs. Next, Dr. Valerie will share her experiences using sound healing around animals, and discuss the benefits of bringing sound healing to people and their pets for well-being. She will then begin the sound bath using Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls and other sound healing instruments, while you and your dog relax laying down on the floor on a yoga mat or blanket.
