Wet Nose is the first of its kind…a safe haven for dogs and cats, in a retail setting. From Fear Free® grooming and training, to Fear Free® play time for anxious dogs, our mission is to educate and offer support to the pets in our community and the fur-parents that love them. Every Wet Nose team member is a Fear Free Certified Professional® along with all service partners, trainers and groomers. We are a unified team, with a common mission.
We strongly believe in work-life balance for our team, which is why our store has reasonable hours: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. All team members, including management, work no more than a 40 hour work week, with 2 days off. We work hard and are serious about what we do, but love to laugh and have fun.

Position: EVENT COORDINATOR

We're on the hunt for an Event Coordinator to dream up, plan, and execute fun, meaningful, and buzz-worthy events that bring our community (both two- and four-legged) together.
What You’ll Do:
✨ Create, plan, and execute in-store and off-site events (think dog birthday parties, pet adoptions, pop-up markets, holiday photo ops, and more)
📅 Be on-site Saturdays to manage event logistics, vendors, and guest experience
📣 Coordinate with our marketing team to make sure events are promoted across all the right channels
🛍️ Work with our vendors to schedule monthly sales, pop-ups, or special promos
📊 Keep track of event budgets, attendance, and performance
🤝 Communicate with the Wet Nose team to make sure all events are staffed, set up, and seamless
🧠 Bring fresh ideas to the table—always thinking of new ways to surprise and delight our customers
What We’re Looking For:

Proven event planning or project coordination experience (bonus if it’s in retail, pet, or hospitality industries)

Position: PET GROOMER

A Wet Nose Fear Free® Groomer:
- Has a minimum 2 years experience as a full service groomer with clipper and scissor experience.
- Has a kind, helpful and friendly personality.
- Embraces Fear Free® grooming practices and is willing to become a Fear Free® certified groomer, if not already.
- Has an attention to detail.

Position: BATH SUITE/GROOMING ATTENDANT
Part Time
A Wet Nose Bath Suite/Grooming Attendant:
- Has a kind, helpful and friendly personality.
- Is able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Has an attention to detail.
- Enjoys cleaning and takes pride in their work.
- Is 16 years of age or older.
Responsibilities include checking in clients & their dogs for self-wash reservations, accommodating any needs during their visit and cleaning the bath suites afterwards. Additional tasks include laundering towels and assisting our groomer during appointments if needed.
