As with any hard chew, a Goat Horn can break teeth if your dog works them too aggressively, or tries to bite down on them, rather than gnaw on them. He'll be able to chew very small pieces of the horn off, but once he can fit the entire horn in his mouth, it should be thrown away. A Goat Horn is meant only for adult dogs with good teeth, and should NOT be given to puppies or seniors, as it could potentially crack fragile teeth.
