You're Not Just a Bather
You’re a Grooming Technician with Heart
At Wet Nose, our Grooming Technicians are the unsung heroes of clean coats and happy hearts. This isn’t a prep role—it’s the whole service. You’ll work one-on-one with dogs that don’t require haircuts but still deserve the full groooming experience: bath, brush, blow-dry, nails, ears, the works. Unlike most salons, this role is paid hourly (plus tips)—because we don’t believe in rushing through pets just to meet a quota. It’s hands-on, messy, and incredibly rewarding. If you love dogs, embrace the splash zone, and believe every pup deserves to leave feeling fresh and fabulous—you might just belong here.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Pet Bather at Wet Nose, you’ll provide full-service bathing experiences in a calm, Fear Free® environment—no trimming or styling required.
- Perform full-service baths, including thorough brush-outs, nail trims, and ear cleaning
- Gently dry dogs using approved Fear Free® techniques and equipment
- Ensure each pet feels safe, calm, and supported from start to finish
- Maintain a clean, sanitary grooming space throughout the day
- Monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or health concerns and communicate as needed
- Follow specific service notes and communicate with clients when necessary
- Support grooming team members with occasional prep work or cleanup assistance
- Practice proper handling, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times

What You Bring to The Pack
This role isn’t for the faint of heart—or for anyone afraid to get a little soggy. We’re looking for someone who’s confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering top-notch care.
- A genuine love for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- A calm, patient demeanor and gentle handling skills
- The physical strength and stamina to safely handle large dogs
- Attention to detail and pride in doing things the right way
- A strong work ethic and willingness to clean, restock, and stay moving
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent transitions
- Ability to follow safety and grooming protocols with consistency
- Prior pet bathing experience is a plus—but we’re willing to train the right person
- All team members must complete Fear Free® training as part of onboarding
