Steve's Real Food Beef Recipe is a complete and balanced diet for BOTH dogs and cats. Their freeze-dried recipes are made with the same great ingredients as their frozen raw food. The freeze-drying process simply removes any moisture and makes the food shelf stable.
Freeze-dried nuggets are also ideal for treats or travel, and great to have on hand just in case you forget to thaw out your frozen raw. When rehydrated, each bag makes 5 lbs of food.

Feeding
Divide daily serving size into 1-2 meals for adult pets or 3-4 meals for puppies or kittens. Rehydrate prior to feeding with the recommended amount of liquid, such as warm water, bone broth or goat milk. Let the food soak until the liquid is absorbed, usually about 5-10 minutes.
Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, breed, and activity level. Please refer to the feeding chart as an initial recommendation and adjust amounts based on your pet's individual needs. Always have clean, fresh water available at mealtime.
Daily Serving Size:
- 5 lbs: 0.5 cup (plus 1/3 cup liquid)
- 10 lbs: 1 cup (plus 3/4 cup liquid)
- 30 lbs: 3 cups (plus 2 cups liquid)
- 50 lbs: 5 cups (plus 3 cups liquid)
- 100 lbs: 10 cups (plus 6 cups liquid)
New Users: Sudden changes in diet, including overfeeding, can sometimes result in digestive issues. Always introduce any new food by slowly mixing with your pet's current diet for the first 7-10 days, increasing the amount of Steve's while decreasing the amount of the other brand.
