One of the best ways to keep your pet's coat looking fabulous, is by brushing and/or combing them regularly. Consistent use will distribute healthy oils, reduce the formation of mats, and leave pets with a shiny, healthy coat.

Undercoat rakes have one or two rows of metal pins designed to penetrate through to the undercoat to remove loose fur, and remove and prevent mats. You can use undercoat rakes on double-coated breeds of all fur lengths.

Product Details

The Artero Rex Rake features 20 T-shaped teeth for removing trapped undercoat and brushing out mats, and a bamboo handle. Measures 4.3" x 6.3".

Directions

Using the rake regularly (weekly, at a minimum), reduces shedding and prevents the development of knots and mats.

Always brush your pet in the direction of hair growth, never against it. Use with care, using small strokes and slowly working on small areas at a time.

If your pet's coat is tangled, spritz it with a detangler or leave-in conditioner prior to brushing, to minimize any tugging or pulling of fur.
