Mud and bath seem like such a contradiction in a dog's world since most people give their pet a bath to get clean, not muddy! Interestingly though, there are fantastic benefits to mud baths.

Mud baths with mineral rich mud are known to improve the symptoms of a variety of skin conditions that can be itchy and painful, like allergies and hot-spots. The vitamins and minerals in mud baths act as an anti-inflammatory, thus lessening the effects of hot-spots and soothe the skin, as well as hydrate and soften.

In addition to soothing and nourishing skin, mud bath's anti-inflammatory properties can alleviate joint and muscle pain. Does your dog suffer from arthritis? Your furry friend could benefit from a mud treatment!

A mud bath is an amazing de-shed treatment. Minerals in the mud open pours and cleans, while dead skin cells are exfoliated, lifting and removing dry/excess hair.

The Process: Mud is massaged into your pet's wet skin and then your pet is wrapped in warm towels so the heat can work its magic. The mud penetrates for 10 minutes, followed by a gentle cleansing shampoo, rinse and deep condition.

Our mud is made with fine, nutrient rich, hypoallergenic clay and a line-up of powerful, nourishing ingredients, to form a creamy, mousse like texture: Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Dried Powder, Borage Oil (Omega Fatty Essential Acid), and Rice Bran Oil (Rich in Antioxidants, Vitamin E), Zinc and Allantion...Mother Nature’s best ingredients that cleanse, exfoliate, and feed the skin to promote healthy cell regeneration.

This treatment is available with any full service grooming appointment upon request. The up-charge varies from $28 to $48, depending on the size of the pet. Please be sure to request this treatment when scheduling so we can allocate the appropriate amount of time for completion.
