Why are we hosting this?
Joe and I have had 4 dogs as a married couple and each has had its own personality "quirks". We've made PLENTY of mistakes trying to curb undesirable behavior and have received advice from "trainers" that we trusted would steer us in the right direction, only to realize, when looking back, that we were taken down the wrong path.
While we can't take back the mistakes we've made, we can take what we've learned and share it in hopes that other families and their dogs can benefit.
Our biggest "revelation" started with Nelly...our 7-year old foster failure with a bite history. With guidance from an amazing, 100% positive, force-free trainer (and friend) Nelly learned to trust, to conquer her fears and ultimately become the sweetest and most loving dog imaginable. What we learned from her, has created a new mission for us...sharing the benefits and reasons why you should choose fear-free training for your dogs.
