Are you comfortable taking your dog out and about? Meet at Wet Nose where we will learn the skills needed to help your pup have what it takes to be polite in public. We will be based in the Wet Nose BARK Room but will plan to venture out into the Geneva Commons stores and eateries to practice our skills in real life (weather permitting).
Canines in the Commons is a 5-week series for all dogs. Sessions are 60 minutes long. Limit of 5 dogs with handlers. Prerequisites for dogs in class include basic foundational training, the ability to work around other dogs, and a friendly, non-aggressive demeanor.
Location: Wet Nose - 202 Commons Drive - Geneva, IL
Registrants must provide proof of up to date vaccinations and negative fecal sample.
All of our training partners are Fear Free Certified Dog Trainers.
The Fear Free Certification program was developed and written by the most respected veterinary and pet experts in the world, including board veterinary behaviorists, experts in animal training, grooming and more. The Fear Free mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety and stress in pets by inspiring and educating the people who care for them and improving the experience of every human and pet involved.
Wet Nose is the first of its kind…a safe haven for dogs and cats, in a retail setting. From Fear Free grooming and training, to Fear Free play time for anxious dogs, our mission is to educate and offer support to the pets in our community and the fur-parents that love them.
